Professional Training

Our medical professionals have an unmatched understanding of both the personal and medical needs of their patients.

An understanding of a patient’s medical needs comes from a combination of experience and education. Medcoast Ambulance’s maintain certifications and training that meet or exceed established state and federal guidelines, and allow each EMT the opportunity to grow as a care provider. We also provide our EMT’s with continuing education and training throughout the course of the year.

Facility Training Services

The following is a list of training classes MedCoast Ambulance offers to our customers as well as our employees.

  • CPR for adults (video, hands-on, written test, course evaluation)
  • Basic First Aid Patient Assessment
  • Signs and Symptoms
  • Pulmonary Distress
  • Choking Prevention
  • Blood Borne Pathogens
  • Back Injury Prevention

California Institute of Emergency Medical Training Services

CIEMT is dedicated to offering the highest level of education and training to Emergency Medical Technicians, Healthcare Providers, and the general public.

  • Basic EMT Course in 4 weeks!
  • 24 hr CE Course
  • Continuing Education – EMT Recertification
  • PR/AED/First Aid Available
  • HR Skills Review and Testing Class

Applications may be submitted in person, via email, by fax or by mail. Applicants should not expect a meeting or interview at the time of submission. Interviews will be arranged at a later date.
